One of the first impressions you will have on arrival at the Sandbanks is the stunning view. The Sandbanks is one of the only hotels in the country with direct access to a blue flag beach!
During your stay, dine in the Seaview restaurant - or in real style in the aa Red Rosette Awarded Sands Brasserie; both have panoramic sea views from most tables. There are excellent facilities for children and families and during the school holidays and special Family Breaks, the hotel even has a children's restaurant so Mum and Dad can get some time to themselves after all! Together with seasonal children's entertainment and the hotel's proximity to the beach, family facilities couldn't be better.
All of our room rates include a complimentary newspaper. Some rooms have sea views or harbour views: for availability and additional costs, please liaise directly with the hotel after making your reservation.

The restaurant overlooks Poole Bay and is managed to a very high standard. One of the highlights of your visit will no doubt be a meal in Sands Brasserie. The brasserie is unique in more than way! Firstly, you will notice its shape - octagonal - cleverly designed to take full advantage of its beach-side location and to allow most of the tables to enjoy the stunning views across Poole Bay. Whatever time of day you choose to visit Sands, your meal will be prepared to order in the dedicated kitchens, using fresh,local produce. The menu is also designed to ensure you get the most from your stay. Relax with a coffee at any time of the day; Enjoy lunch after an invigorating stroll on the beach or in the evening,spoil yourself with a delicious candlelit meal(closed Sun,Mon & Tue eve) The menu uses a clever combination of traditional and modern dishes with that special Sands twist. The brasserie is very popular with non-residents, so should you wish to take dinner in Sands during your visit,booking in advance is advisable.
Finding us is easy. Below is a list of directions form London to the Sandbanks Hotel and a local map alongside to show our superb location on the Sandbanks Peninsula. M3 to Southampton. M27 (West) to Bournemouth. A31 through the forest. Past Ringwood, take the A338 to Bournemouth Continue until the Cooper Dean flyover,over the next flyover, to the next roundabout. Straight on & then under the Richmond Hill flyover. At the next roundabout, straight on (2nd exit) to the Liverpool Victoria roundabout.2nd exit -follow signs to 'Sandbanks Ferry'. Through Canford Cliffs Village. At the mini roundabout take the first exit left into Haven Road. Left on to Sandbanks Road (the sea will then be on your right). Continue slowly - Sandbanks Hotel is on your left. There is plenty of parking and staff to help with your luggage. Welcome to the Sandbanks Hotel!
